That ’90s Show Part 3 is premiering in August on Netflix.
The cast used the “pass the phone” trend on the Netflix Is A Joke Instagram account to share that the upcoming episodes premiere on Thursday, August 22.
That ’90s Show‘s Season 2, consisting of Parts 2 and 3, will return two months early. Variety reports that Part 2 was initially set to premiere on Thursday, October 24.
The That ’70s Show sequel series will continue in 1996 when Leia Forman returns to Point Place for another summer with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red.
“Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months of long distance. But she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate,” per the show’s logline.
“Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.”
That ’90s Show Part 2 made its eight-episode drop on Thursday, June 27.
Bonnie and Terry Turner created the series with their daughter Lindsey Turner and Gregg Mettler, who serves as its showrunner and executive producer. “Going to Point Place last season was a real treat for all of us. We’re thrilled to return,” Lindsey Turner told Tudum at the time of That ’90s Show‘s Season 2 renewal.
“We here in Point Place are thrilled that we’re doing a second season. We’d like to thank all of the fans old and new for tuning in. We’re truly grateful,” Bonnie and Terry Turner added.
That ’90s Show stars Kurwood Smith as Red, Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty, Callie Haverda as Leia, Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen, Mace Coronel as Jay, Maxwell Acee Donovan as Nate, Reyn Doi as Ozzie, and Sam Morelos as Nikki.
The announcement video also features Part 2’s guest stars Seth Green, Will Forte, and Kevin Smith.
