Doctor Who – Friday, May 10th

The official start of Ncuti Gatwa’s reign as The Doctor commences with a double-header premiere event. The Doctor and Ruby find themselves the prey of a terrifying new creature and then sent to the 1960s and the height of Beatlemania. Doctor Who premieres Friday, May 10th on Disney+.

Episode 1 Description: “Space Babies” will see the Doctor and Ruby find themselves stalked by a terrifying new creature through the dark, narrow corridors of a space station, as they meet unusual talking infants. Written by Davies and directed by Julie Anne Robinson, the episode will also guest star Golda Rosheuval as potential new ally Jocelyn.

Episode 2 Description: The Doctor and Ruby will travel back to the 1960s in “The Devils Chord”, once more penned by Davies while Ben Chessell takes up directing duties. The first historical story of Gatwa’s era, the new TARDIS team visit the height of Beatlemania, as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison (played by Chris Mason, George Caple, James Hoyles, and Phillip Davies) are met during their Abbey Road recording sessions. However, an unexpected and nefarious new Doctor Who villain is set to cause chaos, complete with musical battles in the studio itself.
