Things continue to get personal for the doctors of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, and on Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 9, “Spin a Yarn, Get Stuck in Your Own String,” it is Doctor Abrams’s turn.

His five-month-old son becomes a patient in the ED. As the doctors (his father’s colleagues) start treating him, the circumstances of his injuries become questionable. Doctor Abrams is under heat unless what happened to his son can be reasonably explained.

In the meantime, the ED is under fire when a group of people break in through the doors. It seems they are quite upset with how one of their members is treated.

Said patient is a woman under Ripley and Charles’s care. They suspect she is a member of a cult, and that is why the group breaks into the ED to get her out.
