The Vince Staples Show Premiere Date and Trailer Released by Netflix
The rapper Vince Staples gets his own limited series of satirical tales with Netflix’s The Vince Staples Show.
Created by Staples, Ian Edelman, and Maurice Williams and executive produced by Kenya Barris, the five-episode series premieres on Thursday, February 15.
“Following him on his daily adventures, where anything that can go wrong usually does,” The Vince Staples Show asks, “Who’s Vince Staples?” Meanwhile, the trailer asks if anything interesting happened in his day.

Per the show’s synopsis, Vince is “kind of famous, but he’s not. He’s kind of rich, but he’s not. He’s also kind of a criminal. But he’s…not?” Follow him on his daily adventures, where anything that can go wrong usually does.
Netflix’s TUDUM reports that The Vince Staples Show‘s cast includes guest appearances by Vanessa Bell Calloway, Andrea Ellsworth, Naté Jones, Arturo Castro, Scott MacArthur, Bryan Greenberg, and Myles Bullock.
“It’s our mission to work with the best artists in the world,” Netflix Head of Comedy Tracey Pakosta said when the series was first announced, per Deadline.
“Vince has already established himself as one of the most talented young musicians today and we’re really excited about how his sensibility – and sense of humor – will translate into a unique comedy series,” Pakosta added.

The Vince Staples Show is the rapper’s first leading role.
Staples has appeared in five episodes of ABC’s Abbott Elementary as Maurice, acting opposite Emmy Award-winner Quinta Brunson. Last year, Staples appeared in Hulu’s White Men Can’t Jump, penned by Barris, as Speedy.
The Netflix show’s executive producers include Barris (Khalabo Ink Society), Corey Smyth, Edelman (Edelgang), Williams, and William Stefan Smith.
Edelman serves as a writer and showrunner on The Vince Staples Show. Staples and Williams are also writers.
