Law and Order: Organized Crime, Previews

It looks as though Detective Elliot Stabler is undercover once more at the start of Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 Episode 1, “Memory Lane.” With his undercover assignment comes the return of his goatee, which I guess is to better disguise his very cop appearance.

Coming off an undercover assignment is never easy for Stabler, especially not when his personal life is currently in shambles thanks to his mother’s dementia diagnosis. With both his personal and professional life giving him grief, it’ll be surprising if Stabler manages to keep things on track from both ends.

Meanwhile, Bell is trying to hold all the pieces together for her team while battling the deep grief of the recent loss of Detective Jamie Whelan. She knows the rest of the team is struggling, especially with Stabler out of touch, so she has to be the glue.

The ever-growing threat of AI encroaches on the team when Bell hires an advisor of one such program who believes it could revolutionize the way policing is handled. The team doesn’t slow down even for a second as things heat up with a new case, and Stabler finally returns.
