Preview — Wild Cards Season 1 Episode 2: Show Me the Murder
Max and Cole investigate the death of a sports agent on Wild Cards Season 1 Episode 2, “Show Me the Murder.”
The aptly titled Wild Cards episode finds the con artist and cop following the trail from a harmless porch pirate to the murder of the cutthroat agent, Jake Boshep.
Before they get to the award-winning agent’s house (where Max questions if the vacuum killed him), Max says, “Ahoy, partner.” Hopefully, it will become a regular occurrence for Max to greet Ellis and Marc on the houseboat.
Like their first team-up on Wild Cards, their partnership is still rocky. Max wants to be more involved, and Cole has to tell her to step back, like from touching things in an active crime scene.
However, Cole’s concerns about working with Max will extend well beyond the crime scene. The promo video sees a woman the duo questions threatening a lawsuit, which Max takes responsibility for catalyzing. What does the con artist do to the women to get them into this sticky situation?
