The Bear Renewed for Season 3 at FX

News, The Bear

FX is serving up more of The Bear!

The critically acclaimed dramedy from Christopher Storer has been renewed for a third season, per TV Line.

The renewal news comes months after The Bear dropped its 10-episode sophomore season on Hulu in June. The show detailing the behind-the-scenes highs and lows of a Chicago restaurant and its staff debuted with an eight-episode season a year prior.

The Bear Season 1 is nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series. The telecast of the 75th Emmy Awards will air on Monday, January 15, 2024 (8:00-11:00 PM EST/5:00-8:00 PM PST) on FOX.

The Hollywood Reporter shares that Season 3 will air in 2024. Of course, this news depends on a resolution of SAG-AFTRA’s ongoing strike against The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) for a fair deal.

FX shared The Bear‘s renewal news on X (formerly Twitter) with a video asking viewers if they want another round of the show.

The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon,” FX entertainment president Nick Grad said.
