Preview — Ghosts UK Season 1 Episodes 1 and 2: Who Do You Think You Are? / Gorilla War

Sought out during the strike and offered an opportunity to seek retribution for all the sitcoms whose Biritsh origins are overlooked, Ghosts UK has begun its CBS invasion.

Ghosts UK Season 1 Episode 1 and 2, “Who Do You Think You Are?/Gorilla War,” introduces us to a familiar ghost-spearian tragedy.

Alison and Mike Cooper are all but defeated by the UK housing crisis when they receive the news that they have inherited the Button House, a grand estate that comes with some spirited challenges.

While the couple explore ways to turn their new property into a hotel, the estate’s resident ghosts look for ways to get rid of Alison and Mike for good. However, when their haunting goes accidentally array, Alison suffers an injury that leaves her with the ability to see the dead.

As the livings move forward with construction, she will have to learn how to co-exist with undead houseguests from various eras of British history — a tall ask, given the ghosts can’t even co-exist with each other.

The show stars Charlotte Ritchie as Alison, Kiell Smith-Bynoe as Mike, Mathew Baynton as Thomas, Simon Farnaby as Julian, Lolly Adefope as Kitty, Martha Howe-Douglas as Lady Button, Ben Willbond as The Captain, Jim Howick as Pat, Laurence Rickard as Robin and Sir Humphrey Bone, and Katy Wix as Mary.

It was created by series stars Baynton, Farnaby, Howe-Douglas, Howick, Rickard and Willbond. Additionally, Baynton also guest-starred on an episode of Ghosts Season 2.

CBS will be airing reruns of Ghosts US at 8:30/7:30c ahead of the Ghosts UK double-feature.

Episodes 1 and 2 Description: After young couple Alison and Mike Cooper inherit an estate, the resident ghosts from across the ages attempt to haunt them into leaving the property. Following an accident caused by one of the ghosts’ antics, Alison finds that she can see and hear them. / When Mike learns he can’t get out of the loan he and Alison took out to renovate the Button House without losing all their savings, the couple must learn to co-exist with the home’s long-term inhabitants.
