Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of October 22nd! Our picks this week include some exciting premieres, fun new episodes, a few bittersweet finales, and some movies. 

This week we feature Bob’s Burgers, Our Flag Means Death, Shoresy, and more!

Bob’s Burgers – Sunday, October 22nd

It’s time for Gretchen’s sister’s bachelorette party, and Bob and Linda volunteer to help. All the while the kids find themselves playing a game they found on the street. Bob’s Burgers airs Sunday, October 22nd at 9/8c on FOX.

Episode Description: Bob and Linda help Gretchen throw her sister’s bachelorette party; Tina forces Gene and Louise to play a board game they found on the street.

Family Guy – Sunday, October 22nd

The Griffins’ home is taken due to a reverse mortgage, which causes Peter and Mayor West to confront the man behind the scheme — Tom Selleck. Meanwhile, a rivalry with Bruce begins when Stewie and Brian open up a booth at the flea market. Family Guy airs Sunday, October 22nd at 9:30/8:30c on FOX.

Episode Description: When Peter loses the Griffins’ home in a reverse mortgage, he and Mayor West travel to confront the man advertising the scheme, Tom Selleck; Stewie and Brian open a booth at the flea market, leading to a rivalry with Bruce.

Camille, a former colleague of Alec and the team, is now a poker player who has been lured into danger. The team has to take some risks to get Camille out of the situation safely. The Irrational airs Monday, October 23rd at 10/9c on NBC.

Episode Description: Alec and the team head to Las Vegas to help Camille, a former colleague turned expert poker player who’s been lured into danger; they must take some risks to solve a gambling mystery before Camille gets hurt; Marisa makes a significant discovery.

Native America – Tuesday, October 24th

Taking a look at what the Native tribes of America have to offer our country in the way of history, culture, and traditions, this series aims to educate. Native America Season 2 premieres Tuesday, October 24th at 9/8c on PBS.

Episode Description: Native innovators lead a revolution in music, building and space exploration, from the surface of Mars to the New York hip-hop scene to the Pjn Ridge reservation.

Invasion – Wednesday, October 25th

On the season finale, the group finds themselves participating in a risky operation that just might be their last hope. Invasion airs Wednesday, October 25th on Apple TV+.

On the Season 2 finale, Zheng’s fleet is bombed by the Brits causing her to work with Stede to find Prince Ricky Barnes. Meanwhile, the rest of the Revenge crew works to get out of their imprisonment. Our Flag Means Death airs Thursday, October 26th on Max.

American Horror Stories – Thursday, October 26th

The mini-series spin-off of American Horror Story returns with four new, gruesome episodes. Technology plays a heavy role in each of these thrilling tales of horror and intrigue. American Horror Stories Season 3 premieres Thursday, October 26th on Hulu.

Pluto – Thursday, October 26th

The anime series is a spin-off of the ever-popular, Astro Boy, and follows Gesicht a Europol detective as he investigates the murder of the famous Montblanc. In his pursuit, Gesicht discovers a mysterious entity known as “Pluto.” Pluto premieres Thursday, October 26th on Netflix.

Series Description: Famous for his military service in the 39th Asian War, the legendary Swiss robot Montblanc is violently murdered. Humans and robots around the world mourn for the beloved celebrity. Montblanc’s popularity only grew in the years following the war, thanks to his dedication to nature conservation and his loving personality. Once a fellow war veteran, robotic Europol detective Gesicht is sent to investigate Montblanc’s tragic demise. In his pursuit, Gesicht uncovers evidence of a mysterious entity known only as “Pluto.” He also learns of a conspiratorial plot to dismantle the eight specialized robots from around the world who participated in the war. Racing against time to save those who still remain, Gesicht grapples with his memory, morality, and a world full of hate, desperately attempting to defend the fragile coexistence of man and machine.

Shoresy – Friday, October 27th

On the show’s sophomore season’s first outing, the Bulldogs set their sites on a league record. Shoresy Season 2 premieres Friday, October 27th on Hulu.

CURSES! – Friday, October 27th

Pandora and Russ race against the clock to reverse a generations-long family curse that has turned their father into stone. It is up to them and their mom to return precious artifacts to their rightful owners. CURSES! premieres Friday, October 27th on Apple TV+.

Series Description: When a generations-long family curse turns Alex Vanderhouven to stone, it’s up to his two kids, Pandora and Russ, along with his wife Sky, to return artifacts stolen by their ancestors to their rightful homes and finally lift the curse for good.

Five Nights at Freddy’s – Friday, October 27th

Josh Hutcherson plays a troubled security guard tasked with working the night shift at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria where he discovers something sinister is afoot at the pizzeria. Five Nights at Freddy’s airs Friday, October 27th on Peacock.

Movie Description: A troubled security guard begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the late shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.
