Things Look Grim for Jack Spade in ‘Heels’ Season 2 Trailer
With just a month away from the premiere of Heels Season 2, Starz has finally released the trailer for the coveted series, and things aren’t looking up for Jack Spade.
Following the actions of Heels Season 1 Episode 8, “Double Turn,” Jack (Stephen Amell) must deal with the consequences and find a way to make amends with both his brother, Ace (Alexander Ludwig) and wife, Staci (Alison Luff).

The trailer highlights Ace’s disappearance, leaving town after being humiliated by his brother in front of the entire crowd and everyone they know in the Season 1 finale.
With his relationships hanging by a thread, Jack must take the time to work on himself, find Ace, fix his marriage, and figure out where the DWL (Duffy Wrestling League)’s story is going now that Crystal (Kelli Berglund) is the new DWL Champion.
The Heels trailer also indicates that Season 2 plans to see much more of Crystal in the ring this season, going up against rival female wrestlers and proving herself to the nonbelievers.
Heels‘s new season brings fans back to the DWL, where Jack and Ace will continue their fight over the legacy of their late father, Tom Spade (David James Elliot), and individual successes while finding their own identities as a “face” or “heel.”

Heels‘ Season 2 description is as follows:
“Season 2 begins after a spectacular showing at the South Georgia State Fair. The Duffy Wrestling League’s popularity is suddenly on the upswing. Hoping to seize the opportunity, Jack and his cohorts prepare for a possible business deal with a new streaming service that may propel them onto a national stage. But the past and its tragedies threaten to upset everything when Ace leaves Duffy and the Dome in his rearview, and rival promotion Florida Wrestling Dystopia’s vengeful frontman Gully comes calling.”
Season 2’s cast includes Mary McCormack as Willie Day, Allen Maldonado as Rooster Robbins, Chris Bauer as Wild Bill Hancock, Trey Tucker as Bobby Pin, Robby Ramos as Diego Cottonmouth, Alice Barrett Mitchell as Carol Spade, Roxton Garcia as Thomas Spade, and Joel Murray as Eddie Earl, and CM Punk as Ricky Rabies.

New cast members for Heels‘ sophomore season include AJ Mendez as Elle Dorado, Josh Segarra as Brooks Rizzo, and Emmy Raver-Lampman as Jen Lussier.
Heels showrunner and executive producer Mike O’Malley also portrays Charlie Gully on the series. Christopher Donnelly, Pete Segal, Patrick Walmsley, and Julie Yorn serve as executive producers on the series.
O’Malley Ink and LBI Entertainment, in association with Lionsgate Television for STARZ, produce Heels Season 2.
