Preview — Cruel Summer Season 2 Episode 4: Springing a Leak
A night at the Chambers’ house becomes a trust exercise for Isabella and Megan on Cruel Summer Season 2 Episode 4, “Springing a Leak.”
A burst pipe sends the Landrys and Isabella to Steve, Luke, and Brent’s house in Winter 1999, leading to a chilling conversation about how far Isabella needs to go to prove her loyalty to Megan.
The promo video ends on the line that could bring the murder mystery into sharper focus. Isabella asks her friend, “Do you need me to kill for you?”
Meanwhile, the promo video posits that “Springing a Leak” may include one of the only conversations between Megan and Isabella so far in Summer 2000. Isabella goes to Megan to tell her, “He knows about our secret.” To which Megan responds, “Which one?”
While the photos leave plenty to guess about, Cruel Summer‘s promo video suggests “he” could be Sheriff Myer, who continues the investigation, or Steve, who questions why Debbie is so sure her daughter didn’t murder Luke.
On a more naive note, Megan takes a turn for the unexpected and makes fake IDs for the gang so they can have a more adventurous summer in 1999.
