Outlander, Previews

On Outlander Season 7 Episode 1, “A Life Well Lost,” Roger attempts to ease Brianna’s worries when Reverend McMillan approaches the new minister to rally their soldiers.

In the sneak peek clip below, Roger reveals his bad-boy past as he reminds Brianna he is a veteran soldier, not to mention a “wayward youth” who grew up in the mean streets of Scotland stealing sweets from the post office and drinking beer.

Brianna gasps in mock shock at the self-proclaimed criminal. “The Terror of Inverness,” she laughs.

The two continue their effortless banter, Brianna cradling her pregnant belly as Roger jokes about his reckless childhood as a preacher’s son. A few more silly religious puns are thrown in for good measure.

But there is an air of unease between the couple as they discuss Roger’s new gig as the ridge’s minister.

Reverend McMillan will be watching Roger closely to ensure his more intellectual research doesn’t interfere with his religious studies, which is a concern for Brianna.
