Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of May 14th! Our picks this week include many season finales and a couple of exciting premieres.

Fear The Walking Dead – Sunday, May 14th

It is time for Season 8 of this action-packed spin-off series. Morgan and Madison find themselves undercover at PADRE. Fear The Walking Dead final season premieres Sunday, May 14th at 9/8c on AMC.

All American – Monday, May 15th

9-1-1: Lone Star – Tuesday, May 16th

La Chica Invisible – Tuesday, May 16th

Hulu’s latest thriller series follows a father and daughter who unexpectedly get involved in the case of a murdered teenage girl. They must put their conflicts aside in order to survive what is supposed to be a peaceful, idyllic town. La Chica Invisible premieres Tuesday, May 16th on Hulu.

Series Description: A father and daughter get involved in the investigation of a murdered teenage girl in the picturesque town of Cárdena. The two are forced to put their differences aside in order to solve the murder case in the supposedly peaceful town.

High Desert – Wednesday, May 17th

Patricia Arquette stuns as Peggy Newman, a newly minted private investigator, who has changed careers after the death of her beloved mother. High Desert premieres Wednesday, May 17th on Apple TV+.

Series Description: Peggy Newman, a woman with a checkered past, makes the life-changing decision to become a private investigator following the death of her beloved mother, with whom she lived in the small desert town of Yucca Valley, California.

The Big Door Prize – Wednesday, May 17th

Father Reuben discovers something he didn’t expect about Hana while Dusty and Cass contemplate the future. The Big Door Prize season finale airs Wednesday, May 17th on Apple TV+.

Law & Order – Thursday, May 18th

It’s McCoy vs. McCoy on the Season 22 Finale. Price tries to stay out of the professional family dispute but finds himself empathizing with the defendant due to their shared trauma. Law & Order season finale airs Thursday, May 18th at 8/7c on NBC.

Episode Description: When a senator is gunned down at his daughter’s wedding, McCoy pushes for a severe sentence and squares up against a formidable defense attorney — his own daughter. Price aims to stay neutral but can’t help but empathize with the defendant over a shared trauma.

Law & Order: SVU and Organized Crime Crossover Conclusion – Thursday, May 18th

The two-week crossover event concludes with a season finale no one will forget. The revenge-for-hire crime ring turns into an international event bringing in bigger guns than the already combined forces of Benson and Stabler’s teams. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit picks up the crossover on Thursday, May 18th at 9/8c before it concludes on Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10/9c on NBC.

SVU Description: In the search for a revenge-for-hire crime ring, Benson and Stabler combine forces on a case that has now spread globally. Fin and Bruno help a rape victim assaulted a second time. Jet’s plan to hack the dark web backfires and puts the team in danger.

Organized Crime Description: As OCCB and SVU close in on a callous and desperate suspect, the U.S. Attorney benches Stabler and Benson; Bell and Fin must lead the team on a perilous task; Rollins (SVU vet Kelli Giddish) confronts a witness who refuses to cooperate.

Mrs. Davis – Thursday, May 18th

With one final attempt, will Sister Simone finally gain custody of the coveted Holy Grail? Mrs. Davis season finale airs Thursday, May 18th on Peacock.

Series Description: After being ousted from her convent, Sister Simone vows to destroy the one responsible: a powerful artificial intelligence known as Mrs. Davis. Grey’s Anatomy – Thursday, May 18th

On a two-hour season finale event, most of Grey-Sloane is gearing up for Simone’s wedding day. Meanwhile, the attending surgeons reunite with Meredith in Boston with mixed results. Grey’s Anatomy season finale airs Thursday, May 18th at 9/8c on ABC.

So Help Me Todd – Thursday, May 18th

All too quickly, the season finale is upon us with The Coral Reefs vying for office space and a new employee creating work-wife drama. Meanwhile a ballet dancer auditions for a trap rapper. A Black Lady Sketch Show season finale airs Friday, May 19th on HBO Max.

Fire Country – Friday, May 19th

A massive mudslide tears through Edgewater creating a dangerously daring rescue for Station 42 and Three Rock. Fire Country season finale airs Friday, May 19th on Paramount+.
