Vote for Your Favorite TV Shows and Performers! The 2023 Tell-Tale TV Awards (Round 1)

It’s time to get your voting fingers ready, TV fans! Voting is now open for Round 1 of our annual Tell-Tale TV Awards!

Every year, we celebrate our love of television with this set of reader polls that tells us your favorite TV shows and performers from the previous year. And as usual, there’s plenty of great TV to choose from. 

As always, nominees for each poll came from our hard-working team members as well as you, our dedicated readers.

You can vote below for your favorite TV shows, performers, and the year’s best series finale. There are 18 categories this year, including Favorite New Comedy Series, Favorite Network Drama Series, Favorite Cable or Streaming Sci-fi/Fantasy Series, Favorite TV Movie, and more.

There will be a total of three rounds of voting, and the final winners will be announced at the end of the month.

Some of the TV shows included in this year’s nominees are Poker Face, Abbott Elementary, Ghosts, Call Me Kat, Young Sheldon, Dead to Me, Only Murders in the Building, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Yellowjackets, Will Trent, So Help Me Todd, Big Sky, Station 19, The Rookie, Chicago Fire, The Company You Keep, The Equalizer, Better Call Saul, Good Trouble, Succession, Yellowstone, Yellowjackets, The White Lotus, Interview with the Vampire, The Last of Us, The Boys, Outlander, Ms. Marvel, The Last Thing He Told Me, and The Owl House.

But that’s just naming a few! Review each category below carefully before you make your final choices!

A few of the performers included with this year’s nominees are Sara Gilbert, Quinta Brunson, Joel McHale, Rose McIver, Mayim Bialik, Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Christina Applegate, Alex Borstein, Brett Goldstein, Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, Oliver Stark, Nathan Fillion, Bob Odenkirk, Christina Ricci, Chyler Leigh, Antony Starr, Pedro Pascal, Julia Roberts, and Ali Wong, among many others.

Okay, so how does voting work? Here are the details.

You can vote for up to THREE choices in each of the 18 categories below from now through Friday, May 12th at 9pm EST. You can vote once per day until voting closes. All awards are for shows airing between May 2022 and April 2023.

Make sure to click “vote” after each category.

The top 12 nominees in each category (or more in cases of ties) will then move on to Round 2, which will begin on May 13th. There will be a total of three rounds. Make your selections carefully!

Remember! You can vote for up to three nominees in each of the categories below. You can come back and vote once a day until voting closes on May 12th. You won’t be able to vote more than once in a 24-hour period.
