Ben holds the future of a wrongly accused teenager in his hands on Quantum Leap Season 1 Episode 15, “Ben Song for the Defense.”
Ben’s newest mission sees him leaping into the body of an overworked and under-resourced public defender about to take on a case involving a teen on trial for murder. Unsurprisingly, the young man did not commit the crime he’s accused of.

With the odds against him, Ben must navigate a justice system that doesn’t always work the way it’s supposed to and save his client from a life behind bars.
Even more intriguing than the mission, though, is that the episode also shakes up the regular team dynamic by having Jenn act as the hologram this time.
The preview material doesn’t give any clues about whether we will get new developments regarding Ben’s initial leap or the threat to Addison.
Still, with only four episodes left this season and the return of Martinez at the end of Quantum Leap Season 1 Episode 14, “S.O.S,” it seems like a reasonable bet that there will be at least something.
