The death of a celebrated journalist sets Cosgrove and Shaw on a political journey on Law & Order Season 22 Episode 16, “Deadline.” All because of the journalist’s unpublished report about a well-known politician.
Things get complicated due to this politician fighting against them to keep this report quiet. After all, the journalist trying to publish this ends up dead.

Meanwhile, things aren’t any easier for Maroun and Price in the courtroom. It’s hard enough trying to bring a case against this political force.
However, when their only credible witness appears to be another seasoned criminal, the case becomes impossible. It’s all going to come down to who is the most convincing and the most powerful.
