The end of an era is near with New Amsterdam Season 5 Episode 11, “Falling,” ushering in the series’ final episodes.
There is little time left to pick up what remains of this medical drama. On the other hand, the return of a beloved character (or at least footage of them) is imminent. This will either be a very good or terrible thing.

Relationships are at a turning point, and at this late hour, new relationships are taking off. Will the show be able to satisfy shippers in the final episodes, or will they be destined to remain in the harbor permanently?
The DamFam is also heading out into the woods. They will not be the first group of medical professionals to be in such a situation. They will have to have their wits about them if they want to come back out.
In a final season that has been characterized by chaos, New Amsterdam has an opportunity to wrap everything up in a way that doesn’t leave fans wanting.

Episode description: When Helen Sharpe unexpectedly returns to New York, Max escapes to the wilderness on a corporate retreat with Bloom, Wilder, and Iggy; fun soon turns into catastrophe that threatens a life; Reynolds agrees to perform a risky surgery.
