What to Watch on TV: Criminal Minds: Evolution, Wednesday, and The L Word: Generation Q
Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of November 20th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from premieres, finales, and fun holiday celebrations.
This week’s picks include the series premieres of Criminal Minds: Evolution and Wednesday, as well as The L Word: Generation Q Season 3 premiere.

Miss Scarlet and The Duke – Sunday, November 20

The L Word: Generation Q – Sunday, November 20

Everyone’s favorite group of friends is back for another season. Bette and Tina deal with their past and future selves as Angie starts college. Meanwhile, Shane and Tess adjust to domestic life, and Alice questions what she’s looking for in a partner. The L Word: Generation Q premieres Sunday, November 20 at 8/7c on Showtime.

Ziwe – Sunday, November 20
Ziwe is back for the second half of Season 2, of her self-titled show, with even more conversations and guest stars. Be prepared to laugh your way through a discussion on the male psyche with Michael Che. Ziwe premieres Sunday, November 20 at 11/10c on Showtime.

The Neighborhood – Monday, November 21

Calvin starts a campaign to encourage people to shop locally after one of his favorite restaurants closes. The Neighborhood airs Monday at 8/7c on CBS.
Episode Description: When Calvin’s favorite restaurant closes and is replaced by a flashy pet spa, he worries the community is losing too many small businesses and starts a campaign to only buy local. Also, Tina helps Necie prepare a special surprise for Marty.
NCIS – Monday, November 21

The case of the week involves a shooter at the annual Turkey Trot. NCIS airs Monday at 9/8c on CBS.
Episode Description: After an unknown shooter causes chaos at an annual Thanksgiving 5K, time is of the essence for the NCIS team to find the culprit. Also, Kasie joins Knight for Thanksgiving lunch at Knight’s sister’s house.
The Winchesters – Tuesday, November 22
When an old friend needs help, Mary and her friends head out right away, but they learn that they weren’t told everything about what’s going on. The Winchesters airs Tuesday at 8/7c on The CW.
Episode Description: Mary (Meg Donnelly) gets a call from an old family friend who’s looking for some help but when the team arrives, they learn that some crucial details were left out. While Latika (Nida Khurshid) struggles with being a Hunter and questions her future with it, John’s (Drake Rodger) eagerness, and commitment to the Hunt worries Mary. Carlos (JoJo Fleites) finds himself in a situation he’s never experienced before and doesn’t know what to do with himself.
Welcome to Chippendales – Tuesday, November 22

Hulu’s latest series centers on the creation of the now-common commodity, the male strip club. Chippendale’s is now a name everyone knows, but in the early days, this stripper troupe was just a pipe dream for Somen “Steve” Banerjee played by Kumail Nanjiani. Welcome to Chippendales premieres Tuesday, November 22 on Hulu.
Episode Description: Indian immigrant Somen “Steve” Banerjee works at a gas station and spends his nights dreaming of being the next Hugh Hefner. A chance encounter with a centerfold and her promoter husband sends his business plan in a new direction.
Wednesday – Wednesday, November 23

The ever-iconic Addams family is back with the latest rendition of this spooky family. This series follows Wednesday as she struggles to discover herself and her abilities as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday airs on Wednesday, November 23 on Netflix.
Series Description: Follows Wednesday Addams’ years as a student, when she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents.
Criminal Minds: Evolution – Thursday, November 24

The BAU is back in action two years after the end of Criminal Minds. Parts of the team are scattered while others are still working for the unit. Now, they are all teaming up against a serial killer network that has cropped up. Criminal Minds: Evolution premieres the first two episodes on Thursday, November 24 at 10/9c on CBS and Paramount+.
Series Description: Set two years after the end of Criminal Minds Season 15, Evolution returns to the BAU to find the team in a different place in their lives. Some have moved on while others have really found their feet in the team. Now in 2022, the BAU uncover a serial killer network that established itself during the COVID-19 pandemic, after they were unable to commit crimes during the pandemic and now it’s up to the team to find those responsible for setting it up.
The 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – Thursday, November 24
Everyone has a memory of watching the big balloons parade along 34th Street in New York City. Continue that tradition again in 2022 with 4 new balloon designs, a handful of new floats, 12 new marching bands, and a couple of dozen exciting performers. The 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs on Thursday, November 24 from 9a-12p in all time zones on NBC and Peacock.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special – Friday, November 25

Disney is nothing if not consistent when it comes to creating fun little holiday specials for us to enjoy every year. This year, we get the pleasure of seeing the Guardians engage in some shenanigans. You can catch The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Friday, November 25 on Disney+.
Special Description: Star-Lord, Drax, Rocket, Mantis, and Groot engage in some spirited shenanigans in an all-new original special created for Disney+.
A Tale of Two Christmases – Saturday, November 26
When Emma’s life is split into two different realities — one where she stays to spend Christmas with a new crush and one where she goes home to her family and Drew — she experiences Christmas in a whole new light. This journey helps her realize what true happiness is when it comes to life and love. A Tale of Two Christmases premieres on Saturday, November 26 at 6/5c on Hallmark.

The 12 Days of Christmas Eve – Saturday, November 26
If you were given the chance to change your life decisions would you do it? This is exactly what happens to Brian Conway when he is in an accident on Christmas Eve and Santa gives him the chance to redo his day which will help fix his strained relationship with his daughter. The 12 Days of Christmas Eve premieres on Saturday, November 26 at 8/7c on Lifetime.
Movie Description: Brian Conway a successful businessman gets into a car accident on Christmas Eve, Santa gives him twelve chances to re-do the day and repair the relationships in his life to find the true meaning of Christmas.
