Things really land with the law when a student ends up murdered. Law & Order Season 22 Episode 5, “12 Seconds” dives into the world of law school blackmail, lies, and deceit. 

The already dynamic team of Cosgrove and Shaw must piece together all the clues to find out who is responsible. There are no easy answers in this investigation as the pair soon realizes.

Meanwhile, Price has his work cut out for him when a damning piece of testimony comes to light which could hurt his whole case. Will he be able to have the testimony thrown out?

It’s going to be interesting to see if the events of the previous episode will come into play for Cosgrove considering he seems to have a guilty conscience about what his mentor did. Then there is the issue of Price getting more and more unbalanced the more he gets involved with each case he brings to the court.
