Pennyworth is changing streaming services and is now on HBO Max with a new name to go with it. Pennyworth: The Origin Of Batman’s Butler premieres on October 6 on HBO Max.

Season Description: The DC origin series Pennyworth: The Origin Of Batman’s Butler follows Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier, who forms a security company in 1960s London and goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) and his wife Martha (Emma Paetz), before they become Bruce Wayne’s parents. Season three of the psychological thriller begins after a five-year time jump: the civil war is over, and a cultural revolution has changed the world for better or worse — ushering in a new age of Super Heroes and Supervillains.

Based on a true story, this Peacock original tells the tale of Jan Broberg, who was repeatedly kidnapped by the same family friend. A Friend of the Family premieres on October 6 on Peacock.

Jihyo and Bora team up to try to find Jihyo’s boyfriend, who has mysteriously vanished. Glitch premieres on October 7 on Netflix.

Series Description: Jihyo, who can see aliens, and Bora, who has been pursuing them, search for Jihyo’s boyfriend, who disappeared without a trace, and encounter an “unidentified” mystery.

From Mike Flannagan comes a new horror series that’s sure to give us new ghosts to have nightmares about. The Midnight Club premieres on October 7 on Netflix.

Series Description: At a hospice for terminally ill young adults, eight patients come together every night at midnight to tell each other stories — and make a pact that the next of them to die will give the group a sign from the beyond. Based on the 1994 novel of the same name as well as other works by Christopher Pike.

Big Shot Season 2 (Disney+) – October 12

The Westbrook Sirens are back for another season! Big Shot Season 2 drops with all 10 episodes on October 12 on Disney+.

Season Description: Marvyn’s (Stamos) latest plan toward relevance is to get his team broadcast on ESPN and his method is to recruit an unlikely player: Ava (Echeagaray), a gutsy beach volleyball phenom whose public tantrum got her ousted from her own sport. Between losing their assistant coach Holly Barrett (Gilsig) to a rival school, new friction amongst teammates, a sudden and unexpected proximity to boys, and off-the-court disasters that no one could’ve predicted, this season, the Westbrook Sirens have even more to prove.

Rosaline (Hulu) – October 14

Hulu is providing us with a different look at a classic love story. Rosaline debuts on Hulu on October 14.

Film Description: A fresh comedic twist on Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet in which the classic love story is told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline… who just happens to be Romeo’s ex-girlfriend.

The Curse of Bridge Hollow (Netflix) – October 14

This upcoming film is reminding us of those classic Halloween Disney Channel Original Movies, and I mean that in the best way. The Curse of Bridge Hollow debuts on Netflix on October 14.

Film Description: A father (Marlon Wayans) and his teenage daughter (Priah Ferguson) are forced to team up and save their town after an ancient and mischievous spirit causes Halloween decorations to come to life and wreak havoc.

Shantaram (Apple TV+) – October 14

Lin Ford is a fugitive on the run in Bombay, who finds himself being forced to choose between freedom and love. Shantaram premieres with 3 episodes on October 14 on Apple TV+.

Series Description: Based on the internationally bestselling novel by Gregory David Roberts, Shantaram follows a fugitive named Lin Ford (Charlie Hunnam) looking to get lost in vibrant and chaotic 1980s Bombay. Every hero and villain has to start somewhere, and in this Netflix film, they begin their journey at a school designed to train them and protect the balance of good and evil. The School for Good and Evil debuts on October 19 on Netflix.

Film Description: Best friends Sophie and Agatha find themselves on opposing sides of a modern fairy tale when they’re swept away into an enchanted school where young heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance of good and evil.

Acapulco Season 2 (Apple TV+) – October 21

It’s time to head back to Acapulco and follow along with Máximo’s life both in 1985 and the present day. Acapulco Season 2 premieres with two episodes on October 21 on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Season Description: In 1985, Máximo must contend with upheaval at the resort, unexpected problems at home and a new love interest who just might rival the girl of his dreams. Under Don Pablo’s guidance, he sets his eyes on one day running the entire Las Colinas operation by becoming the right-hand man of Diane. The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 2 (Disney+) – October 26

The society is back, and this season, they are following clues left by Mr. Benedict and Number 2 that will hopefully lead them to Mr. Benedict and Number 2’s location. The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 2 debuts with two episodes on October 26 on Disney+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Season Description: This season, Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance, the four gifted orphans who were recruited by the eccentric Mr. Benedict, embark on another mission to save the world from the nefarious plans of his twin brother Dr. L.D. Curtain.
