The war between Alicent and Rhaenyra elevates to a new level on House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 7, “Driftmark.”
We last see Rhaenyra making her way to Dragonstone at the thought of being exiled or murdered if someone were to figure out the truth about her children. It’s also an attempt to escape Alicent after her interactions with her at high council, where she pitched Jace and Helaena’s betrothal to join their houses for good.
However, based on the promo video below, no amount of distance is going to keep Alicent from getting what she wants; revenge.

The tension between Alicent and Rhaenyra is going to hit a boiling point, with Alicent making moves against Rhaenyra and her children in their new home. It’ll be interesting to see the outcome and the pivotal moment we’ve all been waiting to see since its preview.
Meanwhile, Otto has returned as Hand to the King, thanks to Larys murdering his Harwin and Lyonel.
After the manner in which Otto was dismissed from his position, I hope we’re allowed to see their re-introduction and conversation, rather than Otto simply reappearing by Viserys’ side.
Check out the photos and promo video below for a preview!
