Fan Expo Canada 2022 Preview: The ‘Stranger Things’ Cast Turns Toronto Upside Down
Fan Expo Canada returns to Toronto from August 25 to 28, 2022, bringing a ragtag group of fan favorites and breakout stars from the latest television spectacles.
The new season of Stranger Things has turned our lives upside down, so this line-up will surely delight fans of the sci-fi series with appearances from the Hellfire Club’s finest and Hawkin’s sinister baddies.
And there’s plenty more star-power and superheroes to enjoy if interdimensional streaming shows aren’t your thing, with appearances from The Boys, Legends of Tomorrow, and Superman & Lois.

This is Eddie Munson’s year!
That’s right, Hellfire Club’s reigning king of terror and the year’s breakout star is extending his victory tour to Fan Expo Canada.
Joseph Quinn may be new to the Stranger Things crew. Still, Eddie, a rock and roll guitarist with wild hair and an even wilder personality, has taken the internet by storm from his first scene-stealing moment atop a cafeteria table.
The actor will be joined by original cast member and veteran Demogorgon fighter Finn Wolfhard for a Q&A panel on Sunday to discuss the show’s latest season, among other Hawkins-related things. A special guest is also set to appear during their panel — oh, the suspense!

Quinn isn’t the only new recruit coming to town. Hawkins High’s very own Chrissy, a.k.a. Grace Van Dien, will be discussing her brief but impactful time on the show on Friday with her very own panel.
In the spirit of giving the dearly departed fan favorites their moments in the spotlight, Sean Austin will also host a panel on Friday to discuss Lord of the Rings and his time on Stranger Things as the sweet, loveable Bob.
And to round things out, Season 4’s big bad is set to terrorize the streets of Toronto when Jamie Campbell Bower stops by the convention.
Yes, Vecna will attend alongside the rest of the gang and maybe issue some apologies for the trauma Bower’s fictional counterpart inflicted on fans.
Nonetheless, Bower has been a part of many nostalgic teen adaptations over the years, from Twilight to The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, so there are lots for him to discuss with fans at his solo panel on Saturday.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a Kryptonian family affair.
The titular stars of Superman & Lois, Tyler Hochelin and Bitsie Tulloch, reunite for a super-sized panel on Saturday to talk all things Smallville and the future of their show in a shifting DC universe.
Hochelin, a Fan Expo Canada regular, also returns to the convention on the cusp of his cameo in the upcoming Teen Wolf: The Movie. So fans of the cult series can look forward to Derek Hale making his comeback to the conversation as well.
And suppose you are a fan of the CW Arrowverse (or what’s left of it). In that case, Legends of Tomorrow castmates Caity Lotz and Jes Macallan will be on hand to help fans cope with the show’s tragic cancellation and final season during a Q&A panel on Saturday.

This isn’t The Boys‘ first Canadian con, but it could be their most memorable yet, with the show bolder and bloodier than ever.
Back in 2019, Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, and Antony Starr stopped by Fan Expo Canada when they were in Toronto filming Season 2. Now the Prime Video series is ready to celebrate the start of production for Season 4 with a special cast appearance.
The whole cavalry is coming, too; Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Nathan Mitchell, Tomer Capone, and Karen Fukuhara are all stopping by the convention. The cast will be there throughout the weekend to meet with fans and maybe, just maybe, give us a scoop on what carnage we can expect from the new season.
They say you should never meet your heroes, but The Boys is eager to be an exception to the rule.
