Preview — Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2: The Battle Rages On

Previews, Stranger Things

Stranger Things Season 4 is back with Volume 2, and the battle with Vecna is reaching its climax.

There is an ominous energy to the Volume 2 trailer, pushing the idea that this installment will end in pain and destruction. And as Robin rightfully points out, she has a feeling that it might not work out for all of them this time.

The epic, massively entertaining Volume 1 forces fans to tirelessly speculate about the deaths awaiting us on Volume 2.

Two prime suspects are fan-favorite Steve and newcomer Eddie. Both characters stole our hearts during their time on Stranger Things, making them potential options for the kinds of noble sacrifices that accompany big battles.

Either way, this ensemble is full of relatable and unique characters that we love, and any death will crush us. The thought of watching this tight-knit group of friends and family mourn one of their own is unbearable.

However, we still need to center all of our groups back in Hawkins before the end of the season. Eleven inevitably reconnects with Mike, Jonathan, Will, and Argyle soon, but Joyce, Murray, and Hopper are still in Russia.

I think I can speak for us all when I say it’s about time Eleven hugs her father.

Let’s hope there is time for emotional reunions among the central relationships that define Stranger Things, after Eleven, with her newly restored and unstoppable powers, and the rest of her friends face off with Vecna.

Episode description: It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.
