Preview — Motherland: Fort Salem Season 3 Episode 1: Homo Cantus
It’s a new life for everyone on Motherland: Fort Salem Season 3 Episode 1, “Homo Cantus.”
After a long ten-month hiatus, Motherland: Fort Salem is finally back, and our favorite witches’ current state of affairs looks grim.
The Great War is upon us!

Still on the run, Raelle, Abigail, Tally, Scylla, Nicte, Adil, and Khalida are doing their best to stay hidden. But they can only do so much with the Camarilla and government on their tail.
Based on the episode description and Season 3 promo video, however, it looks like we will finally get to see Raylla enjoy themselves and each others’ presence, which is exciting! We’ve yet to see Raylla get to act like an average couple because they’ve always been apart, so getting that time together is warranted and needed.
Meanwhile, Tally’s powers continue to grow stronger and stronger with Nicte’s help and training! According to the promo video, her newfound abilities will allow her to see into the future, which will undoubtedly come in handy.
There is not much to go off of for Abigail and Adil, but there’s no doubt that this season we’ll see their relationship evolve and be more resilient than ever.
After all, the Camarilla are afraid of the union between sky and earth; maybe that’s the key to defeating them?

After being blamed for the death of the vice president’s daughter, the witches leave the army behind and become fugitives — but staying out of trouble is never easy. While Raelle and Scylla enjoy their reunion, Nicte tempts Tally with a new power.

I am sorry to say that I it looks like I am in the minority, however I totally dis not like this season premiere. It really lacked the “umpf”, the strong kick that you should have in a season premiere. I was always excited for a new episode in the previous seasons. But this episode, my wife and I looked at each at the end and just kinda said…”hmmph, guess we wont be watching the rest of this final season”. I really do like the actors/actresses and the premise.. but something was really missing in this 1st episode. It felt like we were watching an show about friends who are dock workers and just talk about their daily lives. Goodluck to all involved.
