Preview — For All Mankind Season 3 Episode 1: Polaris
For All Mankind Season 3 Episode 1, “Polaris,” kicks off the acclaimed series’ third season with its sights set on the red planet.
After conquering the moon, making progress toward peace, and saying goodbye to Gordo and Tracy, For All Mankind Season 2 Episode 10, “The Grey” teased the next leg of the space race. It ends with a shot of boots on Mars in 1995. The question is, whose boots are they?
In the alternate history of For All Mankind, the Russians were the first to land on the moon, but are they going to be the first to land on Mars?
Season 2 left viewers with a lot of questions about the personal lives of a number of characters as well. With the time jump to the 90s, how much has Molly’s eyesight deteriorated? Did Kelly complete her Naval academy training and has she continued to follow in Ed’s footsteps?
Speaking of Ed, were he and Karen able to salvage their marriage after the revelation that Karen had an affair with Danny Stevens?
As the preview images show, we can also expect to see Ellen’s political career progress. This will no doubt be the source of considerable angst given her decision to break things off with Pam so she could run for office.
But, perhaps the most ominous question is from the other big tease at the end of Season 2, the Russians trying to turn Margo into an unknowing asset. Of all the characters on the series, Margo is probably the one viewers should be the most worried about going into Season 3.
