After a chaotic season, the DamFam is set for an equally chaotic season finale, with New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 22, “I’ll Cover You.”
Wedding bells are just around the corner, as it looks like Sharpwin fans will finally get to see Helen (Freema Agyeman) and Max (Ryan Eggold) tie the knot.

It’s not all going to be smooth sailing, however. This being New Amsterdam, there’s sure to be plenty of drama on the way to the ceremony. Hopefully, everything will come together for these two in the end.
Sharpwin has been the endgame from the beginning of this series. After everything they’ve been through, individually and together, they deserve this moment of happiness that’s coming to them.
Their love is undoubtedly strong enough to withstand a hurricane that will wreak havoc on the hospital.
Another love story that’s at a crossroads is Lauren (Janet Montgomery) and Leyla (Shiva Kalaiselvan). Lauren, in particular, has never looked happier. Hopefully, this indicates her commitment to continuing her sobriety journey with Leyla by her side.

Elsewhere, Floyd (Jocko Sims) is finally going to make contact with his father. This could be a turning point for him. This would be a good thing since the drama he’s been involved with this season has rarely served his character.
Iggy (Tyler Labine) also appears to be at a critical point, and one can only hope it leads him out the door of New Amsterdam for good. Just kidding… kind of. He’s a danger to his fictional patients and needs to be stopped.
There are, of course, still questions to be answered before the penultimate season of New Amsterdam comes to an end. Namely, who will be taking over the vacant post of New Amsterdam’s Medical Director? Will Max resume his duties, or will the torch be passed?
As New Amsterdam Season 4 comes to a close, there are still stories left to tell and relationships to pull together. Hopefully, everyone can end the season on a satisfying note.
