The series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.
Girls5eva Season 2 (Peacock) – May 5

They’ve made their comeback, and now it’s time to make their album. Girls5eva Season 2 premieres with 3 episodes on May 5 on Peacock with new episodes releasing weekly.
Series Description: When a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s gets sampled by a young rapper, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can‘t they also be Girls5eva?
Along for the Ride (Netflix) – May 6

Based on the novel by Sarah Dessen, Along for the Ride follows Auden as she falls in love during the summer before her freshman year of college. Along for the Ride debuts on Netflix on May 6.
Film Description: The summer before college Auden meets the mysterious Eli, a fellow insomniac. While the seaside town of Colby sleeps, the two embark on a nightly quest to help Auden experience the fun, carefree teen life she never knew she wanted.
Tehran Season 2 (Apple TV+) – May 6

Tamar and her mission aren’t finished yet. Tehran Season 2 premieres with two episodes on May 6 on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly.

Bosch: Legacy (IMDbTV) – May 6

Bosch is back! He’s now a private investigator working with one of his former enemies. Bosch: Legacy premieres with four episodes on May 6 on IMDbTV with two new episodes releasing weekly.

The Sound of Magic (Netflix) – May 6

After revealing her wish to grow up as fast as possible to a magician, Yoon Ah-yi’s life is changed forever. The Sound of Magic premieres on Netflix on May 6.

The Wilds Season 2 (Prime Video) – May 6

This season, we’re not only following the group of girls we fell in love with during Season 1, but now there’s a male group of subjects also undergoing this social experiment. The Wilds Season 2 premieres with all 8 episodes on May 6 on Prime Video.

Hacks Season 2 (HBO Max) – May 12

The Emmy-winning series is back, and Ava and Deborah still have quite a bit to work on, both professionally and personally. Hacks Season 2 premieres with two episodes on May 12 on HBO Max with new episodes releasing weekly.

Essex Serpent (Apple TV+) – May 13

Cora moves to Essex to investigate the appearance of a mythical serpent, but soon the town begins blaming her for the creature’s appearance. The Essex Serpent premieres with two episodes on May 13 on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly.
Series Description: The Essex Serpent follows London widow Cora Seaborne (Claire Danes) who moves to Essex to investigate reports of a mythical serpent. She forms an unlikely bond with the village vicar (Tom Hiddleston), but when tragedy strikes, locals accuse her of attracting the creature. Based on the novel by Sarah Perry.
Conversations with Friends (Hulu) – May 15

Based on the popular novel by Sally Rooney, this series follows the love stories between four individuals. Conversations with Friends premieres on Hulu on May 15 with all episodes.
Series Description: Conversations with Friends follows Frances, a 21 year old college student, as she navigates a series of relationships that force her to confront her own vulnerabilities for the first time.
Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers (Disney+) – May 20
Chip and Dale are back and living relatively normal lives in the 10 years since their hit show was canceled. The disappearance of a former castmate forces Chip and Dale to don their detective personas and work together. Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers debuts on Disney+ on May 20.
Film Description: Chip and Dale are living amongst cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles, but their lives are quite different now. It has been decades since their successful television series was canceled, and Chip (voice of Mulaney) has succumbed to a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman. Dale (voice of Samberg), meanwhile, has had CGI surgery and works the nostalgia convention circuit, desperate to relive his glory days. When a former cast mate mysteriously disappears, Chip and Dale must repair their broken friendship and take on their Rescue Rangers detective personas once again to save their friend’s life.
The Valet (Hulu) – May 20

A remake of a popular French film, The Valet follows a movie star, Olivia, who accidentally gets photographed with her married lover. Desperate to avoid a PR disaster, Olivia begins fake dating the valet, who also appeared in the photo. The Valet debuts on Hulu on May 20.
Film Description: World famous movie star, Olivia (Samara Weaving) faces a PR disaster when a paparazzi snaps a photo of her with her married lover, Vincent (Max Greenfield). The hard-working valet Antonio (Eugenio Derbez) accidentally appears in the same photo and is enlisted to pose as Olivia’s new boyfriend as a cover up. This ruse with Olivia thrusts Antonio into the spotlight and unexpected chaos. In this fish out of water romantic comedy, two worlds and cultures collide as both Olivia and Antonio start to see themselves more clearly than ever before.
Night Sky (Prime Video) – May 20

A couple discovers a secret chamber in their backyard that leads to a deserted planet and manages to keep it a secret for years. But when someone new enters their lives, things get a lot more complicated. Night Sky premieres with all eight episodes on May 20 on Prime Video.
Series Description: Spanning space and time, Night Sky follows Irene (Spacek) and Franklin York (Simmons), a couple who, years ago, discovered a chamber buried in their backyard which inexplicably leads to a strange, deserted planet. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Disney+) – May 27

The latest Star Wars Disney+ series focuses on Obi-Wan Kenobi in the years after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on May 27 on Disney+ with new episodes releasing weekly.
Series Description: The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat — the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Strange Things Season 4 Vol 1 (Netflix) – May 27

The Upside Down has once again come for our favorite Hawkins residence, whether they reside in Hawkins, California, or Russia. There’s no escaping the Upside Down. Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 premieres on Netflix on May 27, and Volume 2 drops on July 1.
Season Description: It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier.
