After last week’s shocking cliffhanger that saw several of our faves arrested by the FBI, Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode 8, “Mercy,” has a lot of problems to solve.
With Picard and Guinan now in FBI custody, they’ll have to figure out a way to free themselves without confirming the Bureau’s suspicions that they’re not exactly Los Angeles locals (or giving humanity really early access to transporter technology.)
Elsewhere, with the Borg Queen in control of Jurati’s body, she’s looking to start assimilating Earth ASAP.
Can Seven and Raffi stop her—and maybe save their friend—before it’s too late, and they’ve created a future that’s even worse than the dystopian nightmare they came to 2024 to fix? And what about Dr. Soong’s strange genetic experiments on his own daughter?
In short, with just a few episodes to go before the season finale, there’s a lot of ground for Star Trek: Picard to cover.
