‘For All Mankind’ Season 3 Trailer and Premiere Date Released by Apple+ TV
With the last episode of season 2 airing in April 2021, April 2022 feels like a fitting time for some big news about For All Mankind. Season 3 will premiere on the service on June 10, and a trailer helps set expectations for what it will entail.
The critically acclaimed series explores what would have happened if the real-life space race had never ended. In season 3, the story jumps ahead to the 1990s as the characters turn their eyes to the prospect of reaching Mars.
Though the trailer gives very few details about what this will entail, the breathtaking images of the red planet are sure to whet the appetite of an audience that has patiently waited for the show and its characters to return.

For All Mankind Season 3 will consist of ten episodes, the first being released on June 10. Subsequent episodes will drop weekly every Friday, with a finale set for August 12. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Apple+ TV for viewers who want to catch up.
For All Mankind Season 3 description: The propulsive new season of the alternate-reality series takes viewers to a new decade, moving into the early ’90s with a high-octane race to a new planetary frontier: Mars. The Red Planet becomes the new front in the space race not only for the US and the Soviet Union, but also an unexpected new entrant with a lot to prove and even more at stake. Our characters find themselves going head-to-head as their ambitions for Mars come into conflict and their loyalties are tested, creating a pressure cooker that builds to a climactic conclusion.
The ensemble cast returning for season three includes Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt, along with new series regular Edi Gathegi who will play Dev Ayesa, a charismatic visionary with his sights set on the stars.
“For All Mankind” is created by Emmy Award-winner Ronald D. Moore, Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert. Nedivi and Wolpert serve as showrunners, and executive produce alongside Moore and Maril Davis of Tall Ship Productions, as well as David Weddle, Bradley Thompson and Nichole Beattie. “For All Mankind” is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
