Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of March 27th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.

This week’s picks include the pop of The Bubble, the annual 94th Academy Awards, Moonshot, and more.

It’s the biggest night of the year in the film world as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honors the best and brightest in front of the camera and behind it; from editors and composers to writers, directors, make-up artists, and more.

Hosted by Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer, the 94th Academy Awards airs live Sunday, March 27 at 8/7c on ABC.

Sanditon – Sunday, March 27

It’s Charlotte’s first day as a governess with the children, while it’s revealed that something has taken a turn in Georgiana’s fortunes. Sanditon airs Sunday, March 27 at 9/8c on PBS.

Episode Description: Charlotte returns to Sanditon in unexpected circumstances. Army officers descend on the town and Georgiana meets an intriguing artist. Esther Babington has to deal with having an unwanted encounter.

Everything has been leading to this, it’s time for the finale! With everything at stake, will the girls be able to save their school, their town, and the world? Astrid & Lilly Save the World airs Wednesday, March 30 at 10/9c on Syfy.

A new Marvel character is making the jump from the page to the screen with Disney+’s latest series, Moon Knight, a story that follows a gift shop employee that finds his life changed as new memories start coming to light.

Moon Knight debuts Wednesday, March 30 on Disney+.

Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King drops Wednesday, March 30 on Netflix.

So when Gerry Cotten, the CEO of Canada’s largest Cryptocurrency exchange QuadrigaCX, dies in mysterious circumstances, he takes the password to $250 million of customers’ funds to the grave. The latest streaming rom-com follows two college students who stowaway on one of the ships to Mars in an effort to stay together with their partners. But along the way, things start to change. Will the love story change? Moonshot debuts Thursday, March 31 on HBO Max.

Movie Description: In a future where Mars is terraformed, two college students sneak onboard a space shuttle from Earth to Mars in order to be united with their significant others.

Young Justice – Thursday, March 31

The teen superheroes are back after a bit of a hiatus ready to tell the second half of Season 4. Young Justice returns Thursday, March 31 on HBO Max.

Series Description: The teenage Super Heroes are back, striving to prove themselves as members of the Justice League.

Halloween may come once a year but you can always find a horror movie to watch year round and the latest Shudder premiere follows a young shut-in who moves into an apartment that he is beginning to believe is haunted.

When he tries to find someone to help him get rid of the haunted spirit, things take a turn. Will anyone make it out of the apartment alive? Night’s End premieres Thursday, March 31 on Shudder.

The Bubble – Friday, April 1

We’ve had several pandemic-centered stories over the last two years and this meta take is no different as it follows a group of actors stuck at hotel during filming to preserve “the bubble” of precautions around production. The Bubble debuts Friday, April 1 on Netflix.

Movie Description: Comedy about a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs.

Slow Horses – Friday, April 1

With a packed cast, the series follows a team of agents on the rejects team but when things change, they find themselves at the center of a mission to defend their country. Slow Horses debuts Friday, April 1 on Apple TV+.
