Quiz: How Much Do You Remember About Felicity?

Are you ready for a Felicity quiz?

There may be an endless abundance of love triangles throughout television history, but none of them measure up to the iconic love triangle from Felicity

Whether you were “Team Noel” or “Team Ben,” Felicity made a name for itself by situating a well-meaning and naive protagonist with curls between two endearing and irresistible men, creating a hook that kept fans coming back for four entertaining, love-stricken seasons.

If two unbelievably attractive men vying for your attention may have been the fantasy element of the show, stepping out on your own into a new, scary chapter of life was the relatable part.

Felicity was undeniably beautiful, but Kerri Russell was able to maintain a type of innocent, wide-eyed, “every girl” persona in her portrayal, helping make her a universally empathetic and engaging character. Anyone who has ever been 18 — whether they traveled across the country to follow a boy or not  — could relate to facing the unknown, and feeling ill-equipped to do it every step of the way.

Felicity grew with its characters; each season brought a new tone, as Felicity herself transitioned from adolescence to adulthood, and figured out what she truly wanted for her life.

It was a blend of the dramatic and comedic — highlighting the lowest and highest lows that can only occur when you’re living through your early 20s. Felicity’s inner circle overflowed a myriad of incredibly flawed but unbelievably lovable characters who were constantly making mistakes.

It was the kind of inner circle you hope to see reflected back in your own group of friends.

Like any ’90s television archive, there are plenty of aspects of Felicity that wouldn’t work in TV today — stalking a boy to college being at the top of the list. But the underlying themes, the idea that at some point it stops being about what our parents want for us, and instead about what we want for ourselves, are timeless.

That’s why Felicity is so hard to forget — it gets a specific chapter of life right in a way so few have since. That, and it depicts one of the most engrossing and equally balanced love triangles of all time — an element that created shipping wars long before they were a social media fad.

Team Noel or Team Ben, or team no one at all, how well do you remember Felicity? Take our quiz to find out. If you fail, it might just be time for a rewatch binge.
