Preview–The Afterparty Season 1 Episode 8: Maggie
It’s the moment TV-loving amateur sleuths have been waiting for—Xavier’s killer will be revealed on The Afterparty Season 1 Episode 8, “Maggie.”
At the end of Episode 7, “Danner,” Detective Danner said she knew how to solve the case. Not only that, but a surprise eyewitness everyone had seemingly forgot about turns up again.
It’s the final episode’s titular character, Maggie, daughter of divorced couple Zoe and Brett. Did she see how Xavier was killed? What else had she witnessed throughout the night?
It will be another interesting interrogation with Detective Danner, that’s for sure.
Question is, will the finale deliver after building hype and intrigue over the past seven episodes? The limited series has been able to make its revolving door of genre and film styles work so there’s a good chance that it sticks the landing.
