Now that he’s finally located the mysterious Watcher, Picard is in for another shock on Star Trek: PicardSeason 2 Episode 5, “Fly Me to the Moon,” as he learns he may be more connected to the divergence in the timeline than he previously thought. (Or, at least, his past is.)
We learned at the end of last week’s episode that Q is also in 2024, working to make sure his changes to the timeline hold.
And in order to do so, he’ll seek out a man with a familiar name and an even more familiar face: Dr. Adam Soong, the geneticist ancestor of both the man who will one day create Data, and the one who will help make synths like Dahj and Soji. How does he factor into all this?
Elsewhere, Raffi and Seven are preparing to try and rescue Rios from ICE custody—but they’ll have to do so in a way that doesn’t alert the Department of Homeland Security that they’re from hundreds of years in the future.
