Preview — Riverdale Season 6 Episode 6: Chapter One Hundred and One: Unbelievable
Following Jughead’s heroic saving of the universe on Riverdale Season 6 Episode 5, “Chapter One Hundred: The Jughead Paradox,” the gang is back in the real world on Riverdale Season 6 Episode 6, “Chapter One Hundred and One: Unbelievable.”
Unfortunately for them, this means facing the consequences of exiling their longest-reigning villain Hiram Lodge from town. Hiram doesn’t move on easily, as we all know.
This especially impacts Archie, Betty, and Jughead, who are all in Archie’s house and garage when the bomb from Hiram is about to detonate. Archie and Betty are warned by a mysterious call from Rivervale, but it might be too late to warn Jughead.
It appears that they survive the explosion, but we can expect them to experience mysterious side effects. These side effects could be supernatural, causing magical forces from Rivervale to carry over into their world.
Speaking of magic, Cheryl is dealing with the aftermath of placing a vengeful curse on her friends. We know that Hiram planted the bomb, so it will be interesting to see Cheryl approach her guilt.
Veronica is also experiencing guilt after learning that Hiram could be involved in the explosion. It looks like Veronica will never be free from her father. Even after he leaves, he still finds ways to torture her and her friends.
