Good Trouble Review: It’s Lonely Out in Space (Season 4 Episode 4)
Marianna is front and center, as she should be, on Good Trouble Season 4 Episode 4, “It’s Lonely Out in Space.”
Her scheming side and double life, however, are going to backfire. The girls at Bulk Beauty aren’t really doing the work, since it’s Marianna’s voice and the Revitalize Beauty information that is ultimately helping them launch and land these brands. They also are celebrating without her, and essentially using her, which I’m not a fan of, due to how independent and confident she is regardless of these successes.
We can clearly see that despite these wins for Bulk Beauty, Marianna is still the odd woman out. However this plays out, I need Miss Thang to do what’s best for her own personal career growth instead of trying to please everyone else.

It’s no secret that Marianna is lonely ever since Callie’s departure. It is also natural that the two people without direct connections in the Coterie are finding comfort in each other (comfort being a loose term here).
The tension between Joaquin and Marianna is unbelievably high and this is definitely the good kind of tension. Unfortunately, when Marianna is referring to herself as undercover in her own job, she doesn’t realize how it is hitting the nail on the head for Joaquin, and once again the cold distant vibes are seeping in. They’re actually very similar in the ways they express themselves and I’m genuinely excited to see that ice melt off and get these two to start talking and maybe more soon.
Elsewhere in the Coterie, Gael and Isabella are preemptively planning for life with their baby, and the tension here is certainly not the good kind. Since they’re not in a relationship, and solely operating as soon-to-be co-parents the things they want for themselves as well as what they want for each other are not lining up.
Gael is still working for Yuri, and while it’s great to see Gael doing more art, Yuri is far from a delight. Isabella is considering moving again and I’m left wondering whether Gael will either allow it, make her stay, or ultimately decide to go with her since his presence has been more limited this season anyway.

Also, Kelly’s scenes are always so odd. Her character doesn’t contribute to any major plot lines, but something about her sharing her favorite shower stall with Joaquin in an attempt to flirt with him was hysterical. Her presence is just enough to provide that lightheartedness and comedy.
Speaking of presence though, Isabella and Dennis are quite the duo in “It’s Lonely Out in Space.” Their relationship right now is strictly platonic, and yes, I adore their friendship and the way they support each other, but that is all I want. If that wasn’t clear, Dennis still belongs with Davia, end of the story.
It’s exciting to see the pair’s dynamic play out, especially when dealing with food truck competition and branding ideas. Dennis is stuck on the millennial side, using Facebook and Instagram to gain traction, while Isabella wants to hop on the TikTok bandwagon.
The protective side of Dennis also comes out when he offers to take Isabella to her doctor’s appointment, and it’s nice to know she has people on her side after she was alone for so long. She also unknowingly doubled as Yuri’s muse, which I did think hit the cringe factor at first, but it did allow Gael to take over, which meant his hours could go back to normal (phew!).

After Marianna lands a major brand for Revitalize and is highly praised for the win, it might be time to reconsider her role as the mole. While the team at Revitalize is also pretty cringe-worthy minus Liza, they respect Marianna for her mind and her skillset. I still don’t think her so-called friends do, sorry not sorry.
Good Trouble Season 4 Episode 4, “It’s Lonely Out in Space,” is relatively tame up until Joaquin pulls out his creepy side and tries to get information out of Diana Graham. What becomes even more interesting is when he shows Jenna’s picture to Kelly, and she reveals that the photo is Diana (Kelly coming in clutch at the moment).
Marianna once again stands her ground both when accepting the towel from Joaquin as well as when she makes it clear where her feelings are at regarding Evan as the new mentor for the Revitalize Beauty team. She definitely knows more of where she wants her romantic life to go, so I hope that confidence can be pushed on to the moves she wants to make in her professional life.
I do have to say on another and final note, that I loved seeing Dennis cave and make a TikTok for his toast truck. The comments aren’t wrong when they called him #toastdaddy.
