Upload Season 2 Trailer Released by Prime Video

After a long hiatus between seasons, meet Nathan, Nora, and everyone else in the metaverse in the first trailer for Upload Season 2!

Prime Video debuted the trailer for the seven-episode second season to get fans excited for the show’s return early next month.

The sci-fi comedy comes from Emmy Award-winning writer Greg Daniels, whose name will sound incredibly familiar to The Office and Parks and Recreation fans. Daniels serves as an executive producer along with Howard Klein.

The series is set in a technologically advanced future where hologram phones, 3D food printers, and automated grocery stores are the norm. But, most uniquely, humans can choose to be “uploaded” into a virtual afterlife — hence, the title.

Season 2 finds Nathan at a crossroads in his (after) life once Ingrid unexpectedly moves to Lakeview, hoping to strengthen their relationship. But, unbeknownst to Ingrid, Nathan’s heart still yearns for his customer service angel Nora.

As for Nora, she is off the grid and involved with the anti-tech rebel group “The Ludds,” which could prolong Nathan’s yearning. Plus, Nora could meet someone new. Even though it’s been nearly two years since the first season, we are as invested in this fresh take on a romantic comedy as ever.

The second season will continue Upload‘s unique technological developments with near-future concepts like the in-app digital baby program called “prototykes.” Ingrid starts using it in the trailer, giving A.I. Guy even more to do in Lakeview.

Upload stars Robbie Amell as Nathan, Andy Allo as Nora, Kevin Bigley as Luke, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy, and Josh Banday as Ivan, and Andrea Rosen as Lucy.
