Wizard World Chicago 2021 Preview: ‘Outlander,’ ‘Arrow,’ ‘Wynonna Earp,’ and More
After far too long, cons are finally back! What better way to celebrate than by attending Wizard World Chicago 2021?
The thrill of the crowds, the hilarious hijinks of celebrity guests, and the hope of finding the perfect deal have all been absent from our lives for what seems like an eternity. The toll has cost us much stress and a bit of social anxiety, but thankfully, that has all come to an end.
On the weekend of October 15th through the 17th, we can let it all out by getting back to old habits and regaining a sense of normalcy.

Fans from all over the Midwest will be safely gathering at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in full cosplay clamoring for a selfie or autograph with guests from all over television and the silver screen. No matter what your age is, there will be somebody there who will make you starstruck.
This includes celebrities such as Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk) and William Shatner (Star Trek), with not leaving out Lana Parrilla (Once Upon A Time) or Mark Sheppard (Supernatural). From parents to teenagers, and even preteens, all your bases will be covered.
Is your daughter a fan of a certain Disney princess? Possibly Belle or Pocahontas? Well, you’re in luck because Paige O’Hara (Beauty and the Beast) and Irene Bedard (Pocahontas) will be attending. Maybe if you ask nicely the whole con could start a sing-along!
Is dad an action movie buff? Great, because the legendary Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) and Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead) are scheduled to make an appearance too.
Don’t worry mom, you won’t be left out! James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Sam Heughan (Outlander) will be more than happy to flash their charming smile your way. But unfortunately, hugs may be frowned upon at this time.
These guests, my friends, are only the tip of the iceberg!

Stephen Amell (Arrow, Heels), Katie Cassidy (Arrow, Supernatural), and Colton Haynes (Arrow, Teen Wolf) will be representing The CW’s top vigilantes, while Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp) and Tim Rozon (Wynonna Earp) will be Team Syfy’s top butt-kickers.
And yes folks, I saved the best for last. The voice of everyone’s favorite Italian plumber, Charles Martinet (Super Mario), will take time out of his busy goomba-stomping schedule to shake a couple of hands and maybe share a lasagna recipe or two. You might want to skip the mushrooms though.
Of course, some of the top creators in comics will be scattered about on the show floor as well. Dan Didio (Sideways, Metal Men), Jeremy Clark (Punchline, TMNT), Angel Medina (Spider-Man, Venom), and Dan Parent (Betty & Veronica, Archie) are just to name a few of the fabulous artists and writers who will be present from our favorite heroic works of fiction.
As I’m sure you remember, the celebrities are only half of the reason to attend Wizard World Chicago. You can’t leave without checking out all the phenomenal deals!
Rare comics, vintage action figures, collectible movie posters, and clothing featuring any fandom you can fathom will all be for sale, and typically at a reasonable price. Unload some of that hard-earned cash by buying your inner child the gift they always wanted. It will do you — and the economy — plenty of good.

There will be more than a couple of memories to make during this three-day extravaganza, so make a beeline for wizardworld.com where you can purchase tickets, VIP passes, and fantastic merchandise.
There is no telling how fast this event will sell out, so don’t delay because you might regret it as this is the last official Wizard World.
