Preview — New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 3: Same as it Ever Was
On New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 3, “Same as it Ever Was,” Max and Helen are dealing with the full reaction to the reveal of their romance. Max once again took one of Helen’s valid concerns and made a big, impulsive decision, so we’re sure there will be blowback from that.
The hospital is consistently, and irresponsibly, understaffed. It’s only a matter of time before this leads to a serious tragedy or catastrophe. And we mean one Max can’t emotional speech his way out of.
To the surprise of no one, Iggy isn’t a great teacher. After his realization that he must let his residents figure out some problems on their own, we know him well enough to know, he’s still going to be extremely hard on them, a story that’s somewhat uncomfortable to watch.
