Preview — Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episodes 5 and 6: PB&J / The Set Up
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episodes 5 and 6, “PB&J,” and “The Set Up,” continues to juggle two sides of a winning formula, giving us an episode dedicated to the squad’s personal dilemmas and one dedicated to police reform.
“PB&J” reunites Jake and Doug Judy for one last joy ride together. It’s the first of many goodbyes for the series, but this will no doubt be the toughest of farewells for the unlikely friends.
The iconic duo don matching tracksuits and hop in a luxury car, no doubt ready to freestyle to their heart’s content together. There will be lots of fire verses and friendship rings on this journey.
It wouldn’t be a true Pontiac Bandit special if Doug Judy didn’t have at least one trick up his sleeve for his old adversary.
“The Set Up” will move on from the Jake and Doug Judy shenanigans to check in on Amy’s approved purposal for police reform. This means Rosa and O’Sullivan will cross paths again as the 99th precinct attempts to negotiate with the police union.
However, when the FBI interferes in a high-profile case, Jake keeps digging for answers. This case may bring with it some high-profile faces and even more high-profile issues for the squad.
Only time will tell what the bullpen has in store for us in celebration of hitting the halfway mark of this final season.
