First Look at ‘You’ Season 3 — Watch the Teaser!
The return of Pumpkin Spice Lattes can only mean one thing — it’s spooky season. Leave it to Netflix to kick off the thrills by announcing the return date along with a first look at one of its most buzzworthy originals, You Season 3. Joe and his blue baseball cap will return on October 15, just in time for Halloween.
You Season 2 almost ended poorly for Love Quinn, but in a last-minute Hail Mary play she revealed she was pregnant, presumably with Joe’s child. A poster child for daddy and mommy issues, Joe’s often dormant conscious kicked in and he decided to try living happily ever in the suburbs.
Cue the suspenseful music. Joe, never one to just settle down, seemed to take a keen interest in the neighbor next door at the end of You Season 2, which probably isn’t going to end well for the poor girl next door in this upcoming season.
On one hand, being the object of Joe’s obsession never ends well, and on the other hand, getting in the way of Love’s obsession with Joe hasn’t fared well for others either. We’ll see whose eyes the new neighbors in You Season 3 end up catching, for better or worse.
Season Description: In Season 3, Joe and Love, now married and raising their baby, have moved to the balmy Northern California enclave of Madre Linda, where they’re surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers, and Insta-famous biohackers. Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad but fears Love’s lethal impulsiveness. And then there’s his heart. Could the woman he’s been searching for all this time live right next door? Breaking out of a cage in a basement is one thing. But the prison of a picture-perfect marriage to a woman who’s wise to your tricks? Well, that’ll prove a much more complicated escape.
Returning alongside Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti for You Season 3 is Saffron Burrows as Love’s mother Dottie. She’s joined by new series regulars Tati Gabrielle as Marianne, a local librarian, and Dylan Arnold as Theo, a troubled college student.
Additionally, set to recur are Scott Michael Foster, Travis Van Winkle, Shalita Grant, Mackenzie Astin, Michaela McManus, Shannon Chan-Kent, Ben Mehl, Chris O’Shea, Christopher Sean, Bryan Safi, Ayelet Zurer, Jack Fisher, and Mauricio Lara.
