Dynasty Review: A Public Forum for Her Lies (Season 4 Episode 11)
Anders tries to get through to Kirby, and Blake teaches Fallon the ABCs of business on Dynasty Season 4 Episode 11, “A Public Forum for Her Lies.”
On “A Public Forum for Her Lies,” the hour centers around Fallon and her business model, but Kirby’s drama takes the cake for the most exciting storyline of the episode. Fallon’s business storyline has not been fascinating for a hot minute, and now it’s becoming a snooze fest.
At first, it’s an exciting idea for Fallon to headline her own company to claim head of the dynasty, but the excitement has long passed. In short, Fallon is slowly becoming the new Blake of the show. Fallon is all business, has been sidelining her relationship, and overall has not progressed as far as she should have by now as a character.
Introducing Liam’s action-based storyline is the perfect opportunity to put Fallon in a situation that’s out of her atmosphere. But, much to my dismay, Fallon is left behind, and Liam’s adventure is left to the imagination.

The build-up to Fallon’s business success has been all season long, but unless a curveball is introduced to switch up the tone of her storyline, I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be invested.
Dynasty drops the ball with Liam’s storyline by introducing this exciting twist, only for it to disappear one episode later and make zero sense. Fallon getting hacked to access Liam’s emails is not enough to satisfy the need to see what’s going on with Liam.
It would be nice to think that Liam isn’t the one in the casket since he’s nowhere near finding out what happened to his father. However, it wouldn’t be the first time that Dynasty has screwed over characters and wrote them off prematurely.
Arguably the best thing Fallon-wise from the episode is her busting the house down with her rendition of ‘Drivers License’ by Olivia Rodrigo. Elizabeth Gillies is a fantastic actress with a broad range set of abilities, but boy do I wish she would take the plunge into music-making.

I know I say it in almost every review, but we continue to be teased by angel-like vocals by her, and it hurts. I won’t shut up about it until Elizabeth finally listens and decides to grace us with a full EP or album of her own work or even covers.
Kirby’s storyline is only looking worse and worse as it continues to play out. She’s moving on from one bad guy to the next, slowly ruining her life again until someone has to swoop in to save the day. It’s a bold move for Anders to kick Kirby out of the manor, but also an ignorant one.
Anders is coming from a good place in his heart when making his decision to kick Kirby out. He’s hoping that it’ll wake her up enough to see what her actions are doing, but deep down, he has to know that it would only push her in Oliver’s arms even more.
It’s a sad theory, but at this rate, it wouldn’t be shocking if Kirby is the one in the casket. Oliver is not good for her and does not care for her well-being; he’s almost killed her one time before, and this time he might succeed.

The deceased cast member is *supposed* to be revealed on Season 2 Episode 13, “Go Rescue Someone Else,” which airs on August 6th. The four characters on the fictional chopping block are Liam, Cristal, Steven, and Kirby.
The only humorous aspect to Kirby’s storyline is Adam figuring out that Alexis is the cause of it all and announces his hatred for her. He says that he can never forgive her for what she’s done, as if he isn’t the one who burned her face off in a fire pit.
There are no ill feelings or disrespect for Sam Underwood over here, but I’ll forever wish that Adam were the one to be killed off. The fact that Adam is the first one revealed to be safe from the beginning brings me pain. Props are given to the show-runners for that small detail because they knew exactly what they were doing to the audience.
The only hope as we advance with the season is for Fallon’s storyline to get kicked up a notch and the truth about Adam to come out.
