Kevin and Randall are ready to have the lone-awaited talk.
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 13, “Brotherly Love,” will see to it that the Pearson brothers are reunited in person to confront the harsh words they said on Kate’s lawn all those months ago.
That momentous fight came after years of suppressed brotherly disagreements escalated to an unforgivable blow over what was best for Rebecca’s declining health.
Rebecca’s treatment storyline was ultimately pushed to the side following the events of the pandemic, but the fracture in Randall and Kevin’s relationship cannot be so easily forgotten.
Even with Kevin asking Randall to be his best man and Randall accepting, there is still a lot of underlining pain that needs to be dealt with before the men can move forward with their relationship.
Told through multiple timelines, this episode looks to shine a light on the complicated nature of sibling relationships and how far the limits of brotherly love can be pushed.
