Preview — Superman & Lois Season 1 Episode 2: Heritage

Lois, Clark, and their sons make their move to Smallville official on Superman & Lois Season 1 Episode 2, “Heritage.” This is a big adjustment for everyone involved, and it doesn’t help that Clark keeps being pulled in different directions. General Lane warns him of the effects of that in the promo video. 

Plus, Clark and Lois make an important decision one concerning of their sons. One would assume this pertains to Jordan now that we’ve seen his powers begin to manifest, but that could be an obvious misdirect for something involving Jonathan.

Maybe whatever the consequences of that decision are will be smoothed over by the time the Kents go to a barbecue at the Cushing’s house. 

“Heritage” also introduces Adam Rayner as Morgan Edge. Obviously, he and Lois don’t hit it off right away. This is likely because Lois Lane is the only one, as of right now, to see through Edge’s facade.

Episode description: While adjusting to their new lives in Smallville, Lois and Clark make an important decision concerning one of their sons. Meanwhile, tensions begin to rise between Lois and Morgan Edge. Lastly, Lana Lang Cushing invites the Kent family over for a barbecue.

Jordan Elsass, Alexander Garfin, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wole Parks and Dylan Walsh also star.

The episode was written by Todd Helbing and directed by Lee Toland Krieger.
