George Clooney stars in this latest movie following Augustine, a scientist studying in the Arctic has to race to stop a team of astronauts from returning home in the face of a global catastrophe of unknown origins. The Midnight Sky debuts Wednesday, December 23 on Netflix.

Movie Description: This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (George Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe. Clooney directs the adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s acclaimed novel Good Morning, Midnight, co-starring David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone.

Tessa Thompson, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Aja Naomi King stars in this romance the follows a pair of people over the years as they meet, lose touch, and reunite as they find themselves falling in love. Sylvie’s Love debuts Wednesday, December 23 on Prime Video.

Movie Description: Sylvie has a summer romance with a saxophonist who takes a summer job at her father’s record store in Harlem. When they reconnect years later, they discover that their feelings for each other have not faded with the years.

Shondaland cordially invites viewers to a treat of the historical fiction variety as the latest series follows the lives of the Bridgerton family as the eldest daughter makes her society debut into a world of secrets, intrigue, and romance. Bridgerton Season 1 debuts Friday, December 25 on Netflix.

Diana is back and ready to take on a pair of new villains, Maxwell Lord and the Cheetah, while also dealing with Steve Trevor’s return. How will it all play out? Wonder Woman 1984 premieres Friday, December 25 on HBO Max.

Soul – Friday, December 25

The long-awaited Pixar film is ready to take its bow as it takes viewers through Joe’s journey to helping someone find their passion and finding the meaning of soul in the process. Soul debuts Friday, December 25 on Disney+.

Movie Description: Joe is a middle-school band teacher whose life hasn’t quite gone the way he expected. His true passion is jazz — and he’s good. But when he travels to another realm to help someone find their passion, he soon discovers what it means to have soul.

After what seems like a long hiatus, the Letterkenny crew are back and ready to kick off the new season right where they left off, post-fight. Letterkenny returns for a new season Saturday, December 26 on Hulu.

Season Description: Letterkenny kicks off post-fight with Dierks (Tyler Hynes), and the Hicks, Skids, and Hockey Players attend an American Buck and Doe. Katy (Michelle Mylett) takes her scorched earth dating strategy back to Letterkenny and Gail (Lisa Codrington) gets some action of her own. Meanwhile, The Hockey Players learn about Judaism and the whole town gets really into sleepover activities like movies, board games, and girl talk. Then, a competing restaurant opens in Letterkenny and Tanis (Tiio Horn) starts her own energy drink.
