First Look at Netflix’s ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’
Netflix’s latest series, Fate: The Winx Saga, introduces us to a magical world where fairies exist. The series is adapted from Winx Club, a popular Italian cartoon that Nickelodeon revived back in 2011.
Fate: The Winx Saga takes place at Alfea College, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where fairies learn to master their powers. Of course, this won’t be a normal, boring year at school. The series description hints that our fairies will encounter monsters that “threaten their very existence.”
Dark academia brings me joy, so I’m excited to see what Fate: The Winx Saga has in store for us. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long; the series premieres on January 22, 2021.

Series description: Fate: The Winx Saga follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.
