Dickinson Season 2 Trailer: Emily Ponders Fame and Her Legacy
It’s almost time to step back into the imaginative world of Dickinson, and Apple TV+ has released the Season 2 trailer to prepare us.
While Emily dabbled with sharing her poetry with the public in Season 1, it looks like Sue is going to push the matter a bit more during Season 2. She’s playing matchmaker, introducing Emily to Sam Bowles, a newspaper editor who Sue believes can bring Emily’s poetry to the world.
But is that what Emily truly wants? The trailer suggests that Season 2 will focus on Emily debating that very question, whether or not she craves fame.

The question of how the world will remember you (and how you’d like it to) after you’re gone is certainly a big one to ask. It’s safe to say that most of us want to be remembered, especially for the good we’ve done.
It’ll be interesting to see Emily grapple with this throughout Season 2 and see what answer, if any, she comes up with.
Emily: Part of me is pretty sure that fame isn’t good for me. In fact, I think it could be very dangerous.
