Preview — Warrior Season 2 Episode 2: The Chinese Connection
On Warrior Season 2 Episode 1, “Learn To Endure, Or Hire A Bodyguard,” tensions between Chinese and Irish workers continued to boil over with significant casualties on both sides. Ah Sahm, Ah Toy and Lai have taken up a vigilante hobby that has drawn a significant amount of attention from the police, while Chao, being the eyes and ears of Chinatown, inevitably being the one pressured to give up the perpetrators of the grisly murders.
Young Jun’s youthful exuberance continues to show, and with Ah Sahm (in spite of Chao’s warning) not exactly being a voice of reason, it has led to them making an impulsive and incredibly dangerous play for power behind Father Jun’s back.
Warrior Season 2 Episode 2, “The Chinese Connection,” follows Ah Sahm and Young Jun as they begin to put a structure in place for the distribution of their product.
Elsewhere, in a plot all too similar to current events around the world, the politicians are back at it again, using the rampant anti-immigration sentiment as a platform for their campaign, feeding the hate the Irish working men have for the Chinese laborers.
Penny, after the brutal attack on the Chinese laborers she hired, is out in search of protection for her factory. Will that take the form of muscle for hire, or will she be shaking hands with shady people in dark rooms?
