Preview — The Mandalorian Season 2: The Journey Continues
After a long ten-month hiatus, The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1, “Chapter 9,” will return on Disney+ on October 30th.
The series will pick up where viewers left off on The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 8, “Chapter Eight: Redemption,” with The Mandalorian and the child on the run as they scour the galaxy, evading hunters on the lookout and searching for the rest of the child’s species.
I’m excited to learn more about the child’s species, or at least know a name so I can unconsciously stop calling him Baby Yoda. Exactly how powerful is the child? I feel like we’ve only seen a glimpse of what the species can genuinely do.
With Moff Gideon surviving the crashing of his ship, I can only assume that we’ll get to see him and The Mandalorian come face to face again. Hopefully, we learn more about the origins of the dark lightsaber that he wields in the finale.
