Lovecraft Country – Sunday, September 13

In the aftermath of her encounter with William, Ruby gets a taste of what she’s wanted while also dealing with a surprising revelation. All the while, Atticus makes a discovery of his own about his father. Lovecraft Country airs Sunday, September 13 at 9/8c on HBO.

The Third Day – Monday, September 14

A story told in two parts, the limited series follows a pair of people’s lives and circumstances surrounding their journey to the mysterious island of Osea. The Third Day debuts Monday, September 14 at 9/8c on HBO.
Episode Description: After Sam rescues a troubled young girl in the woods, he brings her home to the ominous Osea Island, where inhabitants are preparing for a curious annual festival; As he meets secretive locals, Sam finds the island difficult to escape.
Halloween Baking Championship – Monday, September 14
If you want to get into the spooky season while also being distracted from everything in the world, the Food Network is bringing another season of their holiday-themed baking championship. Halloween Baking Championship debuts Monday, September 14 at 9/8c on Food Network.
Episode Description: Carla Hall encourages 10 competitors to reveal their deepest fears by baking haunted house cakes; then, the bakers compete in the dagger game, and the winner receives a reward that could be the difference between life and death in the competition.
The Devil All The Time – Wednesday, September 16

With an all-star cast, the latest Netflix acquisition tells the story of a town in Ohio, specifically following Arvin Russell as he deals with the external forces of evil that threaten the lives of his family. The Devil All The Time drops Wednesday, September 16 on Netflix.
Movie Description: In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family. Spanning the time between World War II and the Vietnam war, director Antonio Campos’ THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME renders a seductive and horrific landscape that pits the just against the corrupted.
Archer – Wednesday, September 16
Archer is making his return and ready to get back out in the field, just as he’s ready to deal with his feelings for Lana and guard a statue. Archer returns Wednesday, September 16 at 10/9c on FXX.
Episode Description: Archer is back in the spy game and his first mission is to guard a priceless statue; then, he must tell Lana his true feelings and get blind drunk.
PEN15 Season 2 – Friday, September 18
Anna and Maya are back and ready to deal with the continued misadventures and lessons being a teenager offers. PEN15 returns Friday, September 18 on Hulu.
Series Description: Pen15 is an R-rated “traumedy” set in middle school as it really happened in the year 2000. Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine play versions of themselves as thirteen year old outcasts, surrounded by actual thirteen year olds. In this world, seventh grade never ends and the pains of growing up are inevitable.
Ratched Season 1 – Friday, September 18

Take a look behind the origins of the twisted tale of Mildred Ratched before we met her in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, as the series dives into her psychology and the darkness within her. Ratched premieres Friday, September 18 on Netflix.
Series Description: RATCHED is a suspenseful drama series that tells the origin story of asylum nurse Mildred Ratched. In 1947, Mildred arrives in Northern California to seek employment at a leading psychiatric hospital where new and unsettling experiments have begun on the human mind.
