Netflix’s reimagined and updated take on Norman Lear’s 1975 series follows a Cuban family in Los Angeles and ambitiously takes on relevant cultural issues.
In the first three seasons on Netflix, One Day at a Time explored topics such as coming out, sexual harassment and consent, and immigration.
Netflix canceled One Day a Time after Season 3, but thankfully, the series was then revived by PopTV for what turned out to be a shortened Season 4 because of the pandemic.
The good news now is that One Day at a Time will get the chance to be seen by previous fans as well as new ones as it makes its broadcast debut on CBS. (UPDATE: the broadcast premiere has been postponed. We’ll update this again once we find out the new date!) All episodes of One Day at a Time Season 4 will air on CBS.
